Your first visit is a 30 minute consultation appointment where you will be asked to fill in a confidential medical history questionnaire.

When you meet the dentist it is important that you advise us of any concerns you have about dental treatment and are honest about why you have come to the practice and what you want from us. Your care is a two way process and we need and value your input.

During your consultation we will:

• Check the function of your jaw joints.
• Check the health of your soft tissue.
• Carry out an oral cancer screening.
• Check and record the gum health around each tooth.
• Examine the teeth.
• Take xrays as required to check areas we cannot see and get more  information about those we can.
• Provide the highest levels of  patient protection through strict sterilisation procedures and use of disposable products where appropriate.

The treatment options and costs will then be discussed with you and a plan drawn up of how we will proceed. A written price estimate will be provided for your reference.
